As
you approach any shot, draw and imaginary 20 ft.
circle around the ball and prepare yourself to get into "the Zone".
As
soon as you cross the line into "the Zone",
everything, and I mean everything besides the shot at hand
is left OUTSIDE "the Zone"!
Make
your pre-shot routine and then execute the shot like the
pros do. While in "the Zone", NOTHING is on your mind other than visualizing and executing the
shot with the same confidence and precision you would have
if making the shot on the "Practice Range".
Step OUT of "the Zone" after the shot BEFORE resuming your chat with your playing
partners. If you're playing in a tournament and/or making
wagers with your mates that you want to win... widen "the
Zone" to whatever size it takes to accomplish the
concentration level that being IN "the Zone" requires and deserves.
