01. Do the MalibuWoodys® conform to the USGA rules of golf?

YES.  The complete line of Caldwell Golf clubs conform with the "United States Golf Association Rules of Golf."  Although a USGA ruling is not a prerequisite to the manufacturing and sale of golf clubs, it is a key factor in determining the acceptability of a golf club for use in any USGA, PGA, Senior PGA, and LPGA-sponsored event. It also makes a big difference to many amateurs and amateur events alike!

22. Does the MalibuWoody® really have the feel and sound of wood?

This is a "you have to experience to believe it" question, but we assure you, it definitely has the sound and feel of persimmon and/or other hard wood. Some of the younger generation who've never played with persimmon have commented that, "it doesn’t sound right". What they mean is that they are so used to hearing the metal "tin-can clink", that they think that is how a driver is "supposed" to sound!

This is Caldwell Golf Co. Inc., your home for Drivers and Putters extraordinaire. Caldwell Golf is the manufacturer of pro-line golf clubs, made of Space-Age proprietary ceramic "Ceramix®." composites, locked and loaded with Legal Cork®. To better understand what a corked golf club is, you'll just have to come on in and find out! The entire line of clubs has been found -by the USGA- to be conforming to the USGA Rules of Golf. We believe that the sound and feel of metal woods has taken golf from the original sound and feel of persimmon to an unacceptable result. We believe most driver heads are much too large and sound too “tinny”. We have proven -through independent robotic tests- that as swing speeds increase, metal woods generate higher spin rates. With the MalibuWoody® the opposite is true. The faster the swing speed the lower the spin rate. You will find the “Last Driver” you will ever need to buy… aka the MalibuWoody®, all of which come standard with pro-line shafts & grips, made by world famous companies like Graphite Design International®. aka GDI, Aldila® and The Grip Master. You will also find the “Straightest Driver” (aka the MalibuWoody®), you will ever want… What’s more, the MalibuWoody® is arguably the “Longest Driver” you will ever need! This argument is simple… if you are launching golf balls with a “metal wood” -slicing and/or hooking them into the ruff-  you will be loosing distance. Period! If you want a golf club that you can trust… well friend, you just came to the right place! You will find a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and a Lifetime Warranty, good for the life of the original buyer. You will find a line of Putters like no other. If you should need help getting fit with the right golf club… just fill out the Fitting Questionnaire and help is on the way! Caldwell Golf has a team of professionals standing by to help you improve your golf game. If you are looking for Custom Shafts or golf grips (including Leather Golf Grips, we have them...
